10:30 AM – 11:45 AM: Introduction to Yoga (Beginner) with Jason Scholder, Founder of the Innovative Three-Minute Egg  

Learn what yoga can do for you with Jason Scholder in Beginner’s Mind yoga basics. With a strong emphasis on alignment and balance, Jason will teach you the fundamentals of yoga’s most foundational postures. You’ll work harder than you ever thought possible while standing still. You’ll leave feeling energized and equipped to practice on your own or to join some more advanced classes. 

After years of doing yoga and a lifetime of back pain, Jason Scholder crafted his first “Egg.” The goal was to make the practice he needed more accessible to his body. Together with numerous yoga masters he's developed an expanding line of Three Minute Egg® products and an Egg-centric style of Alignment Conscious Yoga anyone can enjoy. Jason is a Yoga Alliance certified 200 RYT and visits Egg-friendly studios around the world training teachers and inspiring students to modify and challenge their practices in creative new ways with Eggs.

Movement Charlotte is a charitable organization dedicated towards providing donation-based yoga to benefit local charities in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Every month, a different local charity in the Charlotte area is selected to be highlighted to create awareness about different charitable organizations and provide benefit to these great organizations.

The concept for Movement Charlotte was born to provide an accessible form of yoga to all levels, all ages and fitness levels. What started as a few people practicing yoga in the park has now grown to a true movement dedicated towards impacting the local Charlotte area in a big way.
